:::ro_page_hero --- eyebrow: Frequently Asked Questions headline_html: Common Questions, Straight Answers lead_html: What employers ask before they pick up the phone. --- ::: :::ro_faq_accordion --- items: - question: What does the free initial consultation involve? answer: You describe the situation; we help you understand it and the possibilities for assistance and resolution. There is no charge and no obligation. If the matter needs formal engagement, you will know exactly what that looks like before committing to anything. - question: An employee has lodged a Fair Work claim against us. Can you help? answer: Yes. We provide support, formal response and defence for Fair Work and discrimination claims, from first notification through to resolution. The earlier we are involved, the more options you keep, so call before responding to anything. - question: Do you replace our HR people or work alongside them? answer: "Both models work. Businesses without an HR function use us as their HR and IR consultancy. Businesses with internal HR bring us in for matters that need independence, specialist IR experience or simply more hands: direct intervention, mediation, claim defence or contract reviews." - question: What is direct intervention? answer: "Instead of advising from the sidelines, we act as your HR and IR consultant inside the matter: running the disciplinary process, conducting the difficult conversations and engaging directly with the people involved until the issue is resolved. It suits sensitive and complex matters where experience in the room changes the outcome." - question: Can you prepare our employment contracts and policies? answer: "Yes. We create and implement professional employment contracts along with the documents that make them effective day to day: codes of conduct, position descriptions, KPIs, induction materials and toolbox talks, with modern award interpretation built in." - question: Do you offer after-hours support? answer: Yes. Support is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week, by phone and email. For urgent matters outside business hours, call 1800 880 721. --- ::: :::ro_cta_band --- anchor: faq-cta heading: Question Not Covered? body: Ask it directly.
